We all are living in a fast paced life where we mostly skip our breakfast, have almost junk lunch and our dinners are meant to be outside. Day jobs, work pressure and sleepless nights have become are routing. All of that and we want to stay fit! Is it really possible with this scenario?
Our eating habits define the health and fitness level of our body. Exercising alone is never enough if we are not eating the right amount of right food. Yeah, everything should be right if we are looking for an ideal diet to stay fit. And, let me tell you, its vice-versa means by eating right and not being physically active will not take you anywhere. So, in order to stay healthy and fit, you must eat right and be physically active as well.
Before jumping onto the ideal diet to stay fit, I want to tell you some quick measures that every one of us should follow:
- Start your day early
- Drink a lot of water
- Exercise (at least for 20 mins. in a day)
- Say yes to fat
- Enjoy cheat days
- Eat fruits
- Call your day end early
Well, above are key points to keep you fit and healthy. Now moving onto what your diet should be? Here, we are going to talk about the ideal vegetarian diet for a day.
06:00 Hrs: 1 Glass of luke warm water
06:30 Hrs: 1 Cup coffee, 1 Banana (105 Cal), 1 Apple (72 cal)
8:30 Hrs: 1 bowl of oats (60 gm with 233 cal), 200ml milk with 30g muesli (270 cal), 5 strawberries, 6 almonds (102 cal) Or 2 idli with 1 bowl of Sambhar
10:30 Hrs: 1 Kiwi (42 cal), 2 walnuts
12:30 hrs: 1 Banana (105 cal), 5-6 resins
1 cup rice (boil them)with a bowl of Chana or Moong dal and salad
You can skip the above if you want to have some chapatti. So you can have, 2 Chapatti (Ragi flour should be mixed with whole wheat flour) with 1 bowl of mix vegetable and salad
16:00 Hrs: 1 Apple (72 cal)
16:30 Hrs: 1 Cup Ginger tea with 1 small bowl of steam corn
20:00 Hrs: 1 bowl of sweet potato, 1 apple, 100g cucumber and 1 carrot salad
20:30 Hrs: 100g Cottage Cheese (raw) with a bowl brown rice and dal (you can have chapatti with dal as well.)
21:30 hrs: 1 glass of Luke warm water
Above is the one day diet plan. You can follow this diet throughout a week by alternatively changing the items like rice with chapatti, oats with idli and muesli, tea with coffee and vice-versa. Some days you can have green tea as well. Your salad must consist of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables.
You can drink coconut water in place of tea or coffee sometimes. Drink 8-10 glass water daily. Use skimmed milk. Exercising is must along with the perfect diet, so invest 20 minutes daily in a good workout.
