Now, coming to the most amazing eggless brownies that you can bake without all purpose flour, is the healthiest version of the all the brownies. For this you can use glass baking pan as it will take less time comparing to the metal pan.
If you are using glass pan then keep the temperature at 325 F and in case of metal pan, the temperature should be 350 F.
Finger Millet Brownie Recipe:
Preparation time: 20 Mins
Baking time: 20-25 Mins
- 1 cup finger millet flour
- ½ cup olive oil
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup coco powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ cup cold milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- A pinch of salt
Preheat the oven at 325 F if you are using a glass baking pan. Now grease the 8X8 baking pan and put it aside.
Now, add finger millet, brown sugar, salt, coco powder and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Combine them well. Sieve this mixture to mix well so that there would be no lumps. This step shouldn’t be avoided.
After combining the mixture well, now, add cold milk, olive oil and vanilla essence to the mixture and make a smooth batter. Combine it without any lumps and let the air incorporate it completely. Now, pour the brownie batter into already greased glass baking pan.
Put the pan inside the preheated oven at 325 F for 20-25 mins. Poke the brownie with the toothpick if it comes out clean, take out the brownie from the over else bake it 5 more mins.
Wait till it completely cool down and then cut the square size pieces with knife. Now, serve it your favorite ice cream.
- You can store it for 3 days in an air tight container.
- Don’t avoid to sieve the finger miller, baking powder, coco powder and brown sugar
- You can use milk at room temperature as well.
- You can use butter, sunflower oil or any other oil in place of olive oil.
- Make a completely lump free batter
- For metal pan bake it at 350 F for 25 mins.
